IMTS Projects:

Project Bazaar 1 - US Army (2006-2007):
Awarded in 2006, this was a one-year proof of concept to rapidly field a vehicle mounted, high resolution, 360° daytime, FMV geo-referenced, Video Route Reconnaissance capability for route clearance patrols in Iraq. IMTS successfully designed, integrated, installed and trained soldiers on the system. The proof of concept led to the award for an enhanced, more capable solution.

Project Bazaar 1.1 - US Army (2007-2010):
This two year spiral enhanced the first generation of the Video Route Reconnaissance System by providing six enhanced systems, which were universally mountable on a variety of military combat wheeled vehicles. IMTS successfully designed, manufactured, integrated, installed and trained soldiers on the systems over a 2-year period in Iraq. They system reliably delivered high resolution, geo-referenced Full Motion Video (FMV) to tactical commanders and troops to enhance protection, detect and find the threat, reduce gaps in ground tactical information, use for forensic backtracking, conduct after action reviews and capture lessons learned, collect EEI and PIR, increase small unit situational awareness, assist in mission planning and allow for immersed small unit training during pre-deployment preparation. The successful deployment of this project led to a follow-on contract to field a final system design for multiple systems to support contingency operations.

Project Route Convoy Patrol Recorder (Passive Hunter) - US Army (2010 – present):
IMTS was awarded a two-year IDIQ contract to provide the US Army 27 “Passive Hunter©” systems for combat use. The systems are the result of a third R&D spiral to improve on the Bazaar System to provide soldiers a combat proven and scalable 360° day/night FMV (future gens to include integration of multi-INT sensors) that provide high resolution, geo-referenced imagery of the battlespace to contribute to the commander’s overall situational awareness and assist to maintain a clearer picture of the battlefield. These systems are currently being fielded in support of contingency operations.

Project Tourist (Patrol View) – US Army (2008-2010):
IMTS provided the US Army precision ground/street level, 360°, geo-referenced, Full Motion Spherical Video (FMSV). The project provided the US Army a “Terrestrial-Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance capability in direct support to the war fighters. The effort successfully collected over 10,000 miles of imagery in support of contingency operations and disseminated using the Tactical Intelligence Ground Reporting (TIGR) network, providing high resolution of detailed route information that eliminates putting soldiers in harm's way:

  • Enhanced small unit situational awareness
  • Enhanced force protection
  • Enhanced pre-deployment/pre-mission training

Support to Haiti Earthquake (2010):
IMTS provided support to USSOUTHCOM to provide near-real time “Patrol View” imagery of Haiti immediately following the earthquake. This was fed into the Tactical Intelligence Ground Reporting (TIGR) System and the USSOUTHCOM network to support relief efforts. The collected data was shared with CNN for live broadcasts. (Successfully completed)

Intelligence Support to the Warfighter (2009 – present):
IMTS provides highly qualified personnel for intelligence support to the warfighter.

Head Point (2011):
IMTS is designing a high resolution, ultra light, 360° helmet mounted camera array to collect 360°, edge-matched panoramic images for use by tactical ground forces.
